Abstract
Modern information systems often contain functionalities such as outcome prediction for certain events and actions or autonomous decision making on the course of future actions with no human interaction. A cornerstone of such systems is knowledge, stored inside of them and evolving from information acquired and organised in a certain manner. Telecommunication operator information systems, as well as many others, face imperfect information on daily basis. Those systems have difficulties to profit from such information, and are unable to properly classify and organise it. Granular approach to organizing information is one of the approaches that can efficiently address the challenge of dealing with imperfect information.
