Message from the general chairs

One of the goals of this conference is to provide a forum where researchers from two fields in electrical and computer engineering can meet together and hopefully benefit from their meeting. The conference is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Tunisia section and financially supported by the ATTNA Association Tunisienne des Techniques Num??riques et d´automatique. National sponsors of the conference are Ministere de l´Enseignement Sup??rieur et de la Recherche Scientifique et de la Technologie, University of Tunis and Ecole Nationale Sup??rieure des Ing??nieurs de Tunis (ENSIT). ICEESA 2013 is the first edition of bi-annual international conference to be held in North African countries and is a transformation of a North African Conference namely Journ??es Tunisiennes d´Electrotechniques et d´automatiques (JTEA) which was running from 1980 almost every year. The technical program of ICEESA 2013 includes 2 plenary lectures being given by well known researchers. In addition there are 32 sessions composed of 142 contributed papers. The social program includes a welcome coffee break after the opening ceremony to be held in the morning March 21st, and coffee breaks offered by the conference during the conference days.
