Abstract :
A novel integration method to estimate stator flux in induction motor with dc offset error is proposed. The proposed method is able to solve the problem associated with a pure integrator for the estimation of stator flux in induction motor for operating in a wide speed range. A drift is produced by integration of dc offset error present in the estimated back Electro Motive Force (back-EMF) due to DC offset error in the measurement of phase current. The novel integration method eliminates the drift produced by the inherent problem of the pure integrator and calculates the measurement error of phase current.
