  • Abstract
This paper mainly deals with the localization problem of behind-wall stationary human for through-wall-radar. In the case of stepped-frequency continuous-wave and one transmitter and two receivers, the proposed algorithm is performed to achieve human location by life-sign detection and ellipse-cross-localization. First, based on clutter suppression, FFT and threshold detection, life-sign detection is implemented to estimate the breathing frequency and range delay. Second, two estimated range delays are transformed into the estimation of human location through ellipse-cross-localization. The algorithm is validated through the experiment results.
