Abstract :
Regional Inland Transportation System (RITS) is a complex system which consists of different resources elements. Resources integration of RITS can improve system´s overall running efficiency. However, resources integration in many RITSs in China is inefficient due to inadequate understanding of evolution mechanism of RITS. In this study, we referred to evolution models in population biology and established a nonlinear evolution model which reflects interactions of resources elements of RITS. Considering the simplified forms of this model, we extended evolution models in population biology in six situations and obtained stable conditions in these situations. In case study of Caofeidian RITS (CRITS), we found some resources integration measures according to the stability analysis of CRITS. Simulation results show that although there are some differences in evolution processes, CRITS will evolve to the stable state, which prove that these integration measures are effective.
