Abstract :
The intergenerational equity of natural resources is an important content of sustainable development strategy. Since coastal development has risen to national strategy, in the development of coastal resources, we should focus on the sustainable development of ecological resources and ensure the intergenerational equity between the contemporary and future generation. This paper starts from the inter-generational resource allocation of the coastal development. From the intergenerational ethics perspective, by analyzing the reasons of port coastline resources in the coastal development producing invalid Pareto optimal, and using Edgeworth box in microeconomics to avoid invalid pareto optimality. Assessing the value of coastal resources with the help of real option pricing model, the author put forward the ecological compensation for future generations from the present generation, to make economic growth sustainable, social development sustainable and ecological environment sustainable into an organic unity.
