Abstract :
The proportions of competition and integration between China and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries are different in different periods. This paper calculated the recent proportions of competition and integration by using export similarity, trade integration index, and regular market share model. The study found competition declined and integration increased, because of the growth of Chinese domestic demand growth and the increase of Chinese foreign trade competitiveness. In the end, the study proposed further research prospects based on industrial structure, development stage, industry chain and comparative advantage analysis.
