Abstract :
In recent years, the land and housing prices continue to rise, and has become an important livelihood issue of social concern and the focal point of government´s macro-control. Almost all the media and public will blame the excessive growth of house prices on the supply of real estate. Besides, there are sudden huge profits in real estate. However, the increasing price of land is the main reason of the high housing prices. This thesis analyzed the relationship between the land prices and housing prices based on the data of 11 provinces and municipality in eastern of China during the period from 2002 to 2009, found out the significant impact of the land prices. So then drew the people´s attention to the issues of current land management system, and put forward proposals for reform of it.
