Cyber crime and violation of copyright

This paper describes cyber crime and violation of copyright. All the copyright laws that ha ve to be obeyed in the real world apply to the virtual world as well. The problem arises when people violate these laws, whether they are aware of it or not. One of the primary causes is th e lack of awareness of the existence of copyright law. A group of 110 examinees, of different sex, age, education level and social status took part in a survey for the purposes of this research. The results are shown in three parts - cyber crime in general, intellectual property and copyright.
