Abstract :
Discrete manufacturing system related to machine tools, automobiles, ships and aircraft industries, etc., having the features of dispersed energy consumption, large aggregate, and heavy pollution, which makes monitoring system of energy consumption in discrete manufacturing plants is of great significance for low-carbon manufacturing. To analyze the energy consumption of discrete manufacturing processes, the energy consumption description model was built, which divided energy consumption into Direct Energy(DE) and Indirect Energy(IE). Furthermore, the monitoring system was constructed based on the energy description model, which included three sub-systems: information collection sub-system, transmission sub-systemand statistics and analysis sub-system. The three sub-systems can adapt to different requirements of energy consumptionmonitoring. Considering the complexity of layout in workshop, we provide various types ways of information transmission. Energy consumption statistics and subsystem analysis are not only able to support the real-time monitoring of energy consumption information but also provide a guarantee of comparison and analysis about each process and each condition of energy consumption. For other industries, the energy consumption monitoring system also has a certain reference.
