  • Abstract
The evaluation of modular design schemes is an essential part of modular design process in order to decide which scheme will be the ideal one. The existed evaluation methods were not suitable for evaluating the attributes which the ideal value is a section. The comprehensive evaluation method based on the extension theory was presented, and the correlation function and the normative correlation degree were defined to calculate the distance between a point and a section. Moreover the evaluating system was established and the evaluating process was described. This method greatly improved the evaluation veracity and reliability. In the end, the approach is illustrated with a missile example concerning the selection of the aim design scheme.
