Abstract :
Wind environment is closely related to human comfort. Yet, during the process of modern society´s development, traditional urban streets are easily ignored. This thesis, takes the case of traditional streets of Lichuan, Jiangxi Province, had been quantified numerical simulation of wind environment of its local center streets both in winter and summer. In order to reach after wind environment inside traditional urban streets, and upon which, logical renewal strategy is proposed via collecting related meteorological data. Disposal and analysis of those data brings out the strategy which includes 3 parts, protecting, updating and planning traditional urban streets under circumstance of wind environment. The aim is to keep continuity of traditional streets culture to better adapt to modern society´s requirement.
