  • Abstract
In this paper, fully solution-processed organic solar cells were fabricated on prepurchased tin-doped indium oxide (ITO)-coated glass using the inverted architecture. Solution-processed electrodes consisting of ITO nanoparticle, silver (Ag) nanowire, or Ag nanoparticle films were used as the anode in the devices. Electrode deposition for solution-processed components was accomplished by using a commercially available airbrush with compressed dry nitrogen as the carrier gas. Morphologies of the deposited electrodes and the solution-processed electron blocking layer can be seen as topography images using atomic force microscopy. Cells fabricated with a solution-processed electrode show comparable device performances to that of an evaporated electrode using a similar structure.
