Abstract
Subject of the article is a power electronics active shunt filter with an extended pass-band. Thanks to this solution an active filter better match a filter input current within a reference signal. Also, pulse modulation components in a filter input current are minimized. A power electronics controlled current source, being essential part of a filter, is based on a multi-channel (interleaved) inverter. The paper presents concept of the 1-phase active shunt filter with utilization of such current source. Also, selected aspects of the control algorithm work and investigations results of the simulation model of the active filter are presented.
