Abstract :
A multi-rate autonomous optical network considering physical impairment aware (IA) constraints is built and demonstrated. The proposed proof-of-concept is capable of real-time monitoring and controlling optical devices changing parameters such as OSNR and chromatic dispersion in order to maintain receiver within error-free operation.
