Abstract :
Face recognition is one of the most widely studied problems in computer science due to various advantages, such as universality, robustness, permanence and accessibility [1]. It becomes increasingly important in many applications, including urban surveillance, home security, and healthcare [2]. Our approach aims human identification using soft biometrics (face, skeleton) extracted from 2D and 3D video sources. The proposed solution is based on low cost hardware [3].
