Abstract
This paper presents comparisons of two controllers implemented at the level of a household heating system for voltage control at the point of coupling with the distribution grid. The voltage is maintained between safety limits using demand response, the electric heaters being used to follow two objectives: to control the inside temperature as well as to control the consumption and, thus, the voltage. Study cases and simulations were conducted in Power Factory on a modeled microgrid structure.
