Abstract :
Quantum dots (QDs) play a vital role in anti-bacterial activity. Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) QDs were synthesized by wet chemical method. Synergistic interactions of CdTe and antibiotic (Ampicillin (amp)) were studied towards the adhesion activity of S.aureus strains (ATCC 25923, Clinical Isolate 762) and we found that significant biofilm inhibition was obtained at maximum concentration of CdTe.
