Abstract :
A new method for distribution network energy saving potential (ESP) evaluation and modification investment planning is proposed in this paper. The ESP evaluation is composed of microscopic analysis of samples and macro statistics of the whole network. First of all, evaluating the selected feeders´ ESP of nine modification measures separately; then, comprehensive ESP of each feeder is assessed by matching integration; at last, after ESP classification and characteristics of the whole network analog processing of the selected feeders, ESP of the whole network is obtained through weighted proportion. The example shows that the proposed method is helpful for understanding the loss reduction space and modification demand of distribution systems.
