Abstract :
In this paper, a new ODE numerical integration method is introduced to power flow computation of power system and the preliminary research is carried out. This method has good convergence and can solve many tough nonlinear equations successfully which the existing methods were failed. Because of no need for calculating the Jacobian matrix and solving linear algebraic equations, the implementation of this method is very easy, and computation and memory is saved. Through testing on IEEE-39 and IEEE-118 bus systems, we have obtained quite satisfactory results.
