Abstract :
The article put forward a new solution to monitoring the operation quality of the widely industrially applied wirerope-core transmission belt. Based on the Electromagnetic Nondestructive Testing Theory, the scheme analysed the essence of the wirerope-core transmission belt (hereinafter called as belt) testing, compared several electromagnetic testing methods. Then it fixed the experimental method of belt testing which is based on magnetic flux leakage testing, and designed the experimental testing device that enabled mutivariate and muti-angle variable study on nondestructive testing for belt. The article also provided a detailed introduction of the key components of the device. Finally there was a discussion about the prospect of the electromagnetic testing of belt.
