Abstract
Research of degradation and aging of the life of the equipment in substations is of great importance in order to achieve an improvement in asset management in key aspects such as operation, maintenance and investment. This article reviews the different techniques and methodologies published over the years to achieve the best estimate of the life and aging of assets in a substation and which variables are directly related to this phenomenon.
