Abstract :
Over the last several months, AP-S has been updating its Bylaws to address changes accumulated since the last update in 2008, under the motivation of this year´s Society review by the IEEE. As indicated in the April issue of the Magazine, we have updated our list of committees; added descriptions for the Editors of the Magazine, AWPL, and our Web site; added awards that have been in place and recently approved; and changed our method of selecting a ballot for AP-S elections. We recently submitted our changes to the IEEE TAB and they made some minor modifications. The IEEE has preferred language describing remotely held AdCom meetings (i.e., via teleconference, video conference, e-mail, or other means of non-real-time participation: see Section 4.11). We incorporated their suggested changes. The final IEEE-approved version is published here, and will be available on the AP-S Web site. In this process, we also updated the table of contents in response to the changes, as can be seen in the full version on the Web site.
