Abstract :
In order to meet customer satisfaction in the future, the postal system of Mongolia has been increasingly facing new challenges to maintain its competitiveness. How exactly, should a given infrastructure/network and transportation strategy be changed to meet the upcoming challenges? Should the postal network throughout the country revised to accommodate introduction of new ICT- based technology? The ICT revolution has had a considerable impact on the postal sector. This paper will demonstrate what kind of technological solution is required for the innovation of the postal network of Mongolia to transform its traditional physical delivery of letters and printed materials throughout the country into an electronic delivery. The solutions described in this paper are designed for hybrid technology of delivery of newspapers and letters between the capital city and province centers and information logistic of postal operator. In that way in a nationwide complex postal system can be established.
