Abstract :
In this paper we calculated the time dependent Gross-Pitaevskii equation (GPE) using imaginary time split operator method. The 3D GPE is reduced according to the symmetry to the 1D and 2D equations. These equations are solved numerically propagating the solution in the imaginary time using Crank-Nicholson split time code.
