Welcome message from the conference chair

The following topics are dealt with: This international conference has been organized by the IEEE Oregon Section and the IEEE-USA. Program committee has worked to bring together a program that focuses on a cross disciplinary look at advances in available as well as emerging technologies that advance the goals of long-term economic, societal and environmental sustainability for humanity. The Conference is organized in six tracks with research papers and/or distinguished invited speakers in each track: Alternative Energy, Energy Efficiency, Electric Vehicles, Smart Grid, Electronic Materials, and Quality of Life.
