Abstract :
As a result of computational research the following regularities are revealed. The losses in dielectric do not shift the resonant frequency of the diaphragm with a slot, partially filled with dielectric, but significantly increase the reflection coefficient from it. The maximum dielectric heating of the sample in the slot occurs when the resonance value of the reflection coefficient from the diaphragm equals 0.5. From the measured value of the resonance wavelength of the diaphragm the sample dielectric constant can be identified. From the value of minimal value resonance reflection coefficient one judge about the presence and amount of losses.
