Abstract :
In this paper the genetic algorithm for the parameters optimization of filter based on a coaxial waveguide with slots in the hollow inner conductor and dielectric discs is used. The numerical method of solution of corresponding bounded problem is based on the mode matching technique and operator method. The used approach allows us to decrease the optimization time due to using of parallel calculations and saving of the scattering operators in the computer memory. The results of these research should be a basis of narrow band and wide band filters designing in the nearest future.
