Abstract :
In this paper the five-level hybrid cascaded multilevel inverter using PWM Method is proposed. This method uses less number of switches to reduce the switching losses. In this method, the conventional inverter and H-bridge inverter are combined to form a new hybrid inverter. By using multilevel carrier based PWM method, a five level output voltage can be produced. This inverter is analyzed by using MATLAB/SIMULINK is developed.
