Abstract :
This paper concerns the super-resolution method for linear array synthetic aperture radar (LASAR). Limited by the length of the linear array, the cross-track resolution is always low. Furthermore, with the large number of along-track (AT) samples, the computational complexity is always very large. To overcome the former disadvantage, this paper employs an iterative adaptive approach (IAA) algorithm to reconstruct the scatterer´s reflectivity in the AT and cross-track (CT) direction. To overcome the last disadvantage, by exploiting the sparse characteristics of the 3D scene, this paper applies a sparse array antenna in LASAR system to reduce the samples. Compared with the traditional method, the presented IAA methods can obtain a better resolution. The simulation and experimental results validate the effective of performance of the presented method.
