  • Abstract
Because of the large orbital eccentricity, the slant range history of GEO SAR is "near-far-near" at apogee, which is opposite to LEO SAR. This paper presents a modified slant range model with negative curvature to fit the "near-far-near" slant range history for GEO SAR at apogee. Based on the principle of stationary phase (POSP), an accurate two-dimension spectrum is derived from the modified range model. Finally, the modified range model and its two-dimension spectrum are verified by computer simulation.
