Abstract
Adaptive beamforming technology could perform excellent performance under ideal conditions. However, the severe performance loss would be caused by steering vector mismatch in practical systems. In order to avoid the performance deterioration, a reduced-rank derivative constraint-based householder multistage wiener filter is proposed for adaptive beamforming in this paper. In the proposed method, the derivative constraints are applied to generate constraint condition on the direction of expectation at first, adaptive processing is carried out based on the householder multistage wiener filter. The proposed method not only has the robustness for the steering vector mismatch between the actual and the presumed steering vector, but also reduces the computational complexity significantly due to the multistage wiener filter adaptive beamforming technique. At last, corresponding simulations are carried out to verify the effectiveness of proposed method.
