Abstract :
Circular sparse array possess many advantages like conformal manifold, Omni-direction, higher resolution and lower cost compared to conventional array. Besides, beam synthesis of circular array should consider the polarization of every element due to curvature and its computational complexity is expensive. Therefore, a new beam synthesis method, for circular sparse array with consideration of polarization via the particle swarm optimization, is given in this paper. The proposed method may obtain the same beam. Finally, numerical experiments are also provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
