Abstract
The author presents, in a collection of slides, how the numerical models of the human body can be obtained from MRI or optical scans then properly meshed or voxelized. The human body is a lossy and dispersive media and its complex geometry can heavily affect the antenna performance. Moreover at the investigated frequencies, the effects of clothes have to be taken into account. Hence, the modeling of a body centric scenario becomes a challenge at mm-waves: the increased amount of the details to be considered increases the complexity of the problems both in simulation and measurements.
