Abstract :
The 70 papers in this special issue focus on the specialized field of microwave photonics. Thirty of the papers are updated and expanded versions of papers presented at the IEEE´s annual International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics, held in Alexandria, Virginia, on October 28-31, 2013.
