Abstract :
Integration of millimeter wavelengths (mm-wave) antenna on silicon technologies enables complex, low cost systems for high rate communications and sensing applications. In this paper, a patch antenna integrated on silicon for millimeter wave applications is presented. The integration technology used is "QUBIC 4X Copper" of NXP Semiconductors. An antenna gain of -1.3 dB at 79 GHz and a bandwidth of about 4 GHz were obtained in simulations.
