Abstract :
By analyzing the reaction mechanism and defects in cryptography application of cross coupled tent map lattices(CCML), the paper proposes an improved cross coupled map lattices(ICCML). The improved model reduces the control variables and uses the structure of cross couplings through time and space. ICCML system increases the rate of diffusion and confusion and generates pseudo-random sequence with uniform distribution, while lattice states reaches ergodic states quickly. In the security of parameters, the largest Lyapunov exponent tends to be large positive values stability, while the difference degree have ideal distribution. All of the properties suggest that ICCML has great application values in stream ciphers.
