Abstract :
Reduction of energy consumption in the current Internet is one of the main challenges today. For this reason the target of this paper is to propose an analytical tool that allows router manufacturers to design a Governor with the aim of achieving the best trade-off between quality of service and energy saving in respect of a given target on the working temperature.
