Abstract :
A MIMO-based ISAR radar imaging system can image targets in air within a shorter time than current ISAR because of its multi-channel observation. But it needs large numbers of array elements to obtain the data which is spare in fact. A method of solving this problem is proposed based on the compressed sensing theory. Under the theoretical framework, the signal acquisition is at a relatively low rate, and computational load for signal processing is low, too. The study shows that the method is capable of giving high quality of ISAR image while less radar antenna element are utilized The algorithm analysis and its simulation are given to show that the proposed method is feasible and effective.
