Abstract :
We propose a two-dimensional location identification method based on the integration of acceleration sensor and video camera data. The loss of the subjects from camera images is often caused by camera´s blind spot. On the other hand, acceleration sensor data don´t determine the exact position, because integration must be done twice required to convert acceleration data into position data. To resolve the above problem, this paper employs a linear relationship between the acceleration value and the speed of human movements. The linear relationship decreases the amount of integration/differentiation in the data and determines a more exact position.
