Abstract :
This paper describes an experimental programme undertaken to test the hypothesis that the contribution to the unstirred energy in a reverberation chamber due to specular wall reflections can be reduced by the use of wave diffusers placed around the specular reflection points on the chamber walls. Periodic wave diffusers were used optimized for a frequency of 3GHz. Significant reduction in the specular reflection components of the unstirred energy was observed.
