Abstract :
Femtocells tend to be large scale and self-organized, which complicates the interference environment of mobile networks. In this case, interference between femtocells cannot be ignored, casing the restriction of the usage of wireless resources. Meanwhile, traffic classes are booming in recent years, and it is very likely that different traffic types with different QoS demand contend with resources at the same time. It is a massive challenge to guarantee the QoS demand of users in interference limited femtocell networks. In this paper, we propose an iterative method (IMMQ) to maximize the number of users with QoS demand as well as maximizing resource reuse ratio to boost spectrum utility with interference constraints. We first model the above resource allocation problem in an optimization problem form. Normally, it is computer prohibitive, and hence we propose an approximate computer tractable scheme and design an iterative method to approach it. Simulation results show the effectiveness of our proposed method compared with other state-of-the-art schemes.
