Abstract
This paper presents the North American demand response availability information. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) objectively analyzed the state of demand response availability through mining the data derived from the NERC´s Demand Response Availability Data System (DADS). This analysis not only provided an industry reference for 2011 demand response availability, it also offered insight towards service types, regional differences and performance levels. With a more thorough data matrix in the future, more conclusions about the availability will be ascertained.
