Abstract
This work considers some features of using error detection codes in telecommunication systems. The analysis of different coding in systems with ARQ based on probability of the undetected error was done. Different codes are compared: fixed-weight code, group code, CRC Hamming codes, Fire, Abramson, iterative code Elice with two steps check parity. The purpose of this research obtaining functions that characterize the reliability of communication and allow selection of appropriate error detection code are obtained.
