Abstract :
Applications of e-learning can be as effective as the traditional teaching and learning style, if the methods are right and implemented with care. This paper discusses the implementation of web learning technology within the context of academic development in higher education. ILIAS Web Learning System has been applied for this purpose currently used for distance education at Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies.
