Abstract :
The use of memristors as nanoscale programmable resistors allows the realization of compact tunable analog components such as tunable gain amplifiers. However, since the memristor´s resistance depends on the signal through it, the design of such tunable memristor-based components should account for this memristor resistance change. In this paper, we analyze the effect of the memristor resistance change on the gain of the differential pair amplifier and demonstrate its dependence on the amplifier parameters and the signal frequency.
