Abstract :
The multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) downlink system using zero-forcing beamforming with semi-orthogonal user selection (SUS) scheduling is considered. An approximate sum rate is derived using a lower bound of the expected signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). Simulation results show that the sum rate approximation is very close to the actual sum rate.
