Abstract :
A new optical multimedia access transmission using compressive sensing (CS) technique is proposed. The CS can allow us to reduce the channel bandwidth of optical wired and wireless network. A 20-Mbps 64-QAM LTE-OFDM data with compression ratio of 50 % was transmitted through 20-km optical transmission and then was reconstructed successfully. This means that the CS technique can be an effective candidate for solving the explosive data traffic in the optical wired and wireless access network.
