Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the capacity of wireless networks considering the social features of interactions between nodes. In our proposed network model, each node has a varied number of social contacts, and connection frequency between the source-destination pair is dependent on the intimacy and geographical distance between them. The throughput capacity of wireless networks is analyzed when both the source node´s social scope and connection probability follow power-law distribution. The effect of physical distance and clustering property on throughput capacity is demonstrated and discussed in our results.
