Abstract :
In this paper, a study of pseudo-haptic perception for consistent pseudo-haptic rendering is presented. A stiffness discrimination experiment was performed with visual, haptic and visuo-haptic (pseudo-haptic) spring. Obtained response were divided into “convinced group” and “doubted group”, which indicates different individual perception in same pseudo-haptic rendering.
